About Marie
My name is Marie – healer, somatic practitioner, and practitioner of nature spirituality and shamanism, apprenticed to the spirits and wise teachers.
Welcome to Walking in Wisdom – earth, body, spirit.
This work is the integration of everything I have learned and embodied through 25 years of somatic healing, therapeutic touch and movement, shamanic soul healing, plant wisdom, and nature spirituality.
I see a clear red thread running through these fields, and my strength lies in weaving them together so you receive a meaningful, lived experience that heals, releases, and connects.
My life path is to open a doorway for you – alone or in community – into deep healing and transformation of body, heart, and soul. So you can come home to your body, reconnect with your spirit helpers, and live a life with deeper meaning and direction.
My work always takes place in collaboration with my spirit helpers. They guide me so you can receive the messages and healing you need. Whether we meet on the treatment table, in sacred space, in circle, around the fire, or in nature, I always call my helpers in.
I offer
1:1 Healing Sessions – A combination of somatic bodywork, shamanic soul healing, and nature-based practices and movement, creating balance, clarity, and deep transformation.
Workshops and Circles – Shared spaces to explore the practices through ritual, teaching, and shared experience.
Retreats – Immersive experiences for those ready to step more deeply into their own journey of transformation.
These offerings are for you if you feel disconnected from yourself, are in the midst of life transitions, live with emotional or physical pain, or long for a deeper connection – to the spiritual, to nature, and to others.
If this resonates, I invite you to walk this path with me.

How did I get here?
As a somatic practitioner and therapist, I have witnessed the deep relief, joy, and transformation that arise when the body releases old beliefs and entrenched reaction patterns. When long-held tension and discomfort are released, life force returns.
Clients who were once cut off from themselves awaken to the feeling of being alive in their own breathing, sensing body. They experience the quiet current of life moving through them and feel their body and soul as living and whole.
It is deeply moving – and it is why I love this work.
And yet, over time, I sensed something was missing.
I have always had a strong connection to the spiritual and a curiosity about the forces that move us. My journey began with yoga and Indian spiritual traditions. But the longing for something rooted in the spiritual and guided by the wisdom of Mother Earth kept my curiosity and search alive.
Permaculture became the next step. It may look like gardening, but at its core lies a deeply spiritual philosophy that reconnects us with the elements – earth, air, fire, and water – and reminds us that we are part of a living ecosystem.
This longing led me to shamanism – an ancient, indigenous practice where we seek help and guidance from the spirit world. I learned that we are never alone. Help is always available – we only need to ask, and Shamanic practices teach you how to ask.
At first, I experienced moments in nature where I could sense the presence of something greater, a living world beyond what we can see. When I took The Shaman’s Journey course, everything fell into place. I now had the tools to connect with my spirit helpers whenever I wished.
Through working with the land, it became clear: permaculture and shamanism share an animistic worldview, where everything is alive and we are part of an interconnected, living whole. The more I released control and listened, the more clearly the magic unfolded.
This journey has brought me to a place of integration – where somatic practices, connection to nature, spirituality, and shamanic healing meet as one.
I walk this path to support those who seek deeper meaning and connection.
I offer healing and guidance that support you in creating balance in the body, connecting with the spiritual world, and living in harmony with your soul’s true expression.
When the body awakens, the mind becomes quiet.
From here, the doorway to the spiritual opens.
To me, it feels like coming home.
